Scivias has recently arranged to purchase a medieval-style hurdy gurdy from Robert Mandel, a reknowned maker based in Vienna. With shipping and a case, the total cost to the ensemble is $1,232. To make this unusual but extrememly necessary step in our music-making possible, we're asking supporters of the ensemble to help us cover this cost.
